The view is just picture perfect!

The location of this cottage is just perfect, close enough to everything you need. We parked our car on arrival and didn't use it till we left. The view is just picture perfect, our two little ones loved to watch the bridge going up in the evening and all the lights of the harbour area in the dark - they found it magical. Cottage was lovely, I didn't cook but saw there was everything I needed to be able to cook most things. Loads of cafes and restaurants within easy walk … hell I was on holiday so no cooking for me. It was lovely and clean, and well presented. Hosts were really responsive to a couple of questions I had. Cottage is deceptively roomy, even got a little courtyard so I could dry things. A tip if you've not been to Weymouth before, you can find yourself walking many times into the town, particularly when you have young kids. If you head along the harbour towards the fort there is a row boat to take you to the town/beach, we used it late afternoons.

Definitely recommend!

Perfect Harbourside location, amazing views from the lounge. Did some crabbing on the wall outside the front door. Great for harbour ferry to the beach and ideal for all pubs and restaurants around the harbour. Although the hosts suggest parking, we used the car park next to the dive centre, approximately 20 metres away. It cost £24 for the weekend. Definitely recommend and hope to visit again.
