We loved our stay, the house was beautiful and just what we wanted for our stay, all the rooms were so cosy it really felt like a home from home, so many lovely books, paintings, ornaments, gorgeous house! the location was great and near the sea front. We all had a wonderful stay!

We had the best time at Sunlight house. We loved the books and the children played the card and board games. It's such a beautiful, airy property that lived up to its name! We will definitely come back again. Thank you!

I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and would stay again. It has a good location in Swanage, about a 6 min walk to the shops and the sea (although the walk back is uphill!). It's on a fairly quiet street with lots of onstreet parking. It's also very close to the coastal walk so you can just head straight out the front door. The house is a good size, we were 5 people and very comfortable, you could probably do 6 easily too. Well-equipped kitchen, speedy wifi as well. It's definitely a period property with the quirks that come with it so be aware of that, and it's a terrace so we could hear the neighbours at times, but nothing bad (and I am sensitive to noise). The house has wonderful character, lots of fantastic books, artwork, lamps to light, it feels like a well-loved home and we really enjoyed our stay! The checkout process was also very easy which we appreciated and there were some great local recommendations.

The house was exactly as described, so homely, lots of thoughtful things like buckets and spades, umbrellas etc. a real home from home. There's a loo on each of the three floors which was great for our family group. The house is less than 10 mins walk from the town, the coastal path and beach, there's lots of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs in the town. We had a lovely stay. Great hosts, very responsive, would recommend.

This is a really great house for a stay in Swanage! Lots of communal space, very clean and comfortable bedrooms, lovely bathrooms, great views from upstairs and a sun-trap balcony - which meant we could even enjoy some rare February sunshine! It's in a nice, quiet neighbourhood but is only a quick 5 minute stroll down the hill to the shops, cafes, beach, pier and a great chippy! Bit longer walk on the way back up ;-) And then just a 10 minute drive to the beautiful Corfe Castle and Studland bay beach, both of which are definitely worth a visit. Just to note, the TV is not that modern but there are plenty of board games and DVDs. And otherwise everything is of a high standard. We stayed here with our 10 year old son and my 70 year old Mum and all had a really relaxing, fun time so we can highly recommend it!

We all had a great stay in this lovely, characterful house. It is extremely spacious yet cosy, with everything you could ask for, and absolutely perfect for our family holiday in fabulous Swanage. Just a short walk from town and with sea views too! We absolutely loved it... Highly recommended and would love to return to stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunlight house! It is a brilliant location, so close to the beach and swanage centre (a steep walk uphill but worth it to pick up fish and chips from the bottom of the road!). The house is even better than the pictures, it is so spacious and the living room and dining areas are great for a family gathering. We stayed as 7 of us and a baby, there was everything we needed for the baby and the beds were so comfortable, the main bathroom shower and bath were so nice like a hotel. Really couldn't fault this stay, the hosts were helpful with recommendations and check in was easy. Really great value and a lovely family spot for a Jurassic coast holiday. We checked out this morning and are already planning when we can next go back!

Booked Sunlight house to celebrate our daughters 25th Birthday , she asked for Seaviews and a cosy home we could all enjoy staying in as it was end of November and there was seven of us in total. It was perfect , Every room is Amazing and full of interesting books, paintings and artifacts. And an open fire And a piano! Jurassic Holidays were great hosts and would love to stay visit again.

Great house for groups, plenty of space. A very solid house, fabulous entertainment areas. Comfortable beds. Fantastic bathrooms! Good location to the town centre with its lovely welcoming residents.

We were a party of 5 adults and 2 children visiting swanage for 1 week for the first time. We booked last minute and were just amazed at how lucky we were to stumble across this little gem. Sunlight house is a charming property full of character, beautifully decorated to give a cosy warm feel. It is located just a few mins away from the beach up a steep hill (good exercise after eating mountains of ice cream at Baboos). 2 of the rooms have views of the beach. The sheer number of amazing books on display was fantastic. There were also loads of DVDs and a really good selection of family board games. The bathroom on the middle floor was gorgeous. The rooms are a good size. I've never been to a holiday letting where the host provides a good amount of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and toilet roll - so thoughtful. There were also very kind gestures like some complimentary ginger biscuits, apricot jam and 2 pints of milk to help us settle in. It was very much appreciated. It seems the property was the childhood family home of one of the owners and this was beautifully captured in the presentation of the house. The hosts were also responsive to our messages and any needs/requests made. Swanage is a fabulous place to visit. There's so much to do! We very much enjoyed coastal walks, visiting durlston country park, Corfe castle, old Harry rocks and also driving to Kimmeridge bay to look at the amazing fossils. Absolutely wonderful holiday! We had the most amazing week at Sunlight House. The house is beautiful and really well set up. The beds are super comfortable and it has all the home comforts you need including a really well stocked kitchen. It's a short walk to the beach and to all the shops and cafes so really convenient. It really feels like a home from home - lots of great books to read and pictures to look at if that's your thing and a lovely little garden and terrace for sitting out in the evenings. The area is fab with so much to see and do. Jurassic Coast Holiday Homes were so helpful and great to deal with and we were really happy with every aspect of our stay. Couldn't ask for more! Hugely recommended.

This is a large, nicely equipped and furnished family home that looks as if it has been left as it was when privately occupied - with bookshelves full of interesting books and other homely features including a piano. We used it both for volunteers working at Swanage Jazz Festival and for some visiting musicians. They loved it for its homely character - so much nicer than a bland hotel. It also sleeps up to 7 so is a good size. The only slight drawback is location and parking. It's on a steep road overlooking Swanage. Parking is on street and may not be available directly outside and it's a 9 minute walk to town on foot. But that aside it is an excellent property and we have already booked it for next year.

Great place to stay with family and only a 5 minute walk downhill to the beach and town centre.
